Wow, we had a great day on Friday once we all found the place. Thank you to all who were able to attend. I especially appreciated Shaun making the trek from S'toon and Derek being on the phone all day. I'll have the next draft to post ASAP maybe even this week.
Hopefully we can meet again in a face-to-face session in May. I'll keep you posted.
March 8, 2010 I've spent some time incorporating the feedback from the meeting on February 26 into a new draft of the outcomes and indicators. Rather than post the whole document as a PDF, I've included the changes and updates within the modules on the menu at the right. Please have a look at the modules where changes were discussed to ensure I've captured the changes and also, if you have time, read the other modules to see if they still make sense after you've had some time to reflect. Please feel free to post any and all ideas, thoughts and other feedback on the discussion pages and to respond to discussion posted by others. I think we established a great dialogue at the meeting and I hope this will continue on the wiki as people have time to participate. Thanks a ton for all your efforts and ideas.
March 25, 2010 I've finished another draft of the curriculum and will post it. I'm hoping that members will have some time to go through the document and provide any feedback that you feel is relevant at this point in time.
May 6, 2010 I can't believe 6 weeks have passed since I last posted a draft on the new outcomes and indicators. Please take time to review the newest version and post comments.

.
I've taken down the two links that nobody could open, but no one told me they couldn't open until the meeting in Regina. I've added a new page called Communication Media Draft 2 which is actually about draft 23. I'm needing feedback from you experts to feel comfortable enought to go ahead. Please if you have time give it a read and share your ideas.

I'll post the latest version of the Communication Media curriculum including the front end, the outcomes and indicators, the glossary, and the reference list. Feedback would be appreciated before the 25th of June. We're getting near the end here, folks.

Welcome back to another great year in education in Saskatchewan. Labour Day is over, the Riders won, and we're all back to school. I've been working on the resource list for Communication Media and need to have some superb websites listed. What are your favourite sites to use in class? Please share as many as you think deserve mention and we'll be able to post those for others as well. Greg
Welcome to the Communication Media Wiki
This is covering new ground for curriculum development by using electronic media to create a learning community for the purpose of curriculum renewal. The existing Communications Production Curriculum can be found at http://www.sasklearning.gov.sk.ca/docs/paa/cpt/index.html
Another useful document is the Practical and Applied Arts Handbook http://www.sasklearning.gov.sk.ca/docs/paa/PAAHandbook/index.html
